After a very frustrating search for a vegan wedding cake that would please even the most skeptical of guests, we began converting favorite family recipes ourselves.  Without realizing it, this was the beginning of what is now Cafe Indigo.  Although we eventually found a wonderful vegan bakery for the wedding cake, we continued to convert recipes.  They were so good that, in the  process, we produced a few accidental vegans.
